KRYNICKI, Wanda (Wandzia) (nee Staszczak)

Posted

Peacefully passed away at the Extendicare Tendercare Nursing Home on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Zdzisław (Joe) Krynicki). Oh, how she missed him! Cherished daughter of the late Emelie Staszczak. Survived by her niece Barbara Labaziewicz-Dybka and family in Poland. Loving Ciocia Wandzia (Aunt Wanda) to Lucy Luxton (Peter), Marnie Luxton and Leslie Luxton (Mike) of Oakville. She will also be deeply missed by her favourite (adopted) great grandson Nicholas Ritchie (Marnie's son). In Wanda's eyes Nicholas was perfect and could do no wrong. He always brought a smile to her face and a twinkle to her eyes. Wanda requested that she have no visitation or funeral service. She celebrated her life daily with friends and family. Thank you to all who knew her through the years. We do not wish to name names in case we leave someone out. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (759-2522). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Special thanks go out to the entire staff of the Great Northern Retirement Home. Wanda spent five years with her Great Northern extended family who treated her royally with love and compassion. The Luxton family extends its heartfelt thanks to the entire staff at the Extendicare Tendercare Nursing Home. There our Ciocia Wandzia was treated with love, kindness, respect and dignity. What a gift we were given; a loving, beautiful lady (Wanda) who possessed enormous love for her family and friends. She always made you feel special. Thank you to Dr. Peter Apostle and Dr. Clarke for their care and compassion. Also thanks to Father Niewinski of St. Andrew Bobola for his faithfulness in visiting Wanda and meeting her spiritual needs. Thank you to the church members (ladies) who visited Ciocia Wandzia on a regular basis. 'Till we meet again in heaven, Ciocia Wandzia. We'll never forget you. Our memories are precious.

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul;
He leadeth me on the paths of righteousness
