Passed away peacefully at Extendicare Maple View on Saturday, July 23, 2022 in his 86th year. Loving husband of the late Patti for 61 years. Cherished father of Cynthia and Clarence Holman of Petoskey, MI and Louisville, KY, Mitchell and Karie Krancevich, Jill and Gordon Douglas, and Dan and Francesca Krancevich. Proud grandfather of Marlee and Patrick Sivret, the late Mac Douglas; Jarret (Riley) and Mariah Krancevich-Rayner (Dale); and Niki and Rocky Krancevich (Jules). Great grandfather of Kylie Karie-Ann, Colton Krancevich and Rhett Rayner. Savannah Joe, Jack and Luke Sivret. Survived by his sister, Rose Squires (late Max) of Kingston, Ontario. Joe was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Joe was a proud Steelworker, where he worked in the electrical department for 35 years. He retired at the age of 55 where he proudly partnered with Wally at Thomson's Strawberry Farm.
As per Joe's wishes a private family service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
