Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with his mother by his side on Saturday, April 11, 2020 in his 55th year.
Dearly beloved son of Anna-Liisa and Voitto and loving brother of Steven. Dear nephew of Terttu (late Kalevi) Humalamäki, Tapio and Cathy Humalamäki, Irma Koskinen and Aira (late Matti) Tuunanen. Andy will be dearly missed by his cousins Väinö, Juha, Mikko and Teija Humalamäki and David and Nancy Tuunanen and by his cousins Lisa and Heidi Humalamäki with whom he had a special bond throughout his lifetime.
Andy will be lovingly remembered by his dear and loyal friends Donna and Tim, Richard, Dan, Chris and Melanie, Patrick and Ron as well as many co-workers at the Ontario Finnish Resthome. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Finland.
Special thank you to nurses and health care workers on the second and third floors of SAH for their excellent care and compassion to our Andy.
Due to current circumstances, a private family service will take place with Pastor Brad Mittleholtz officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association (new Mauno Kaihla Koti Nursing Home) or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
A celebration of Andy's life will be announced and held at a later date.
