Called home to his Lord and Saviour on Monday, April 15, 2024 at the age of 83. Bob lived a remarkable life as a child evangelist and pastor, leaving behind a legacy of faith and compassion that inspired the lives of many.
Born on June 8, 1940, Bob discovered his calling at a young age and dedicated himself to spreading God’s love and kindness to all those around him. His career as a pastor was not just a profession but a deeply held passion that drove him to serve his community with unwavering devotion.
Bob's warm and gentle personality endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A nature lover at heart, he found great joy in the outdoors, and spent many hours painting wildlife and scenery that captured God’s creation through his eyes.
Throughout his life, Bob's artistic talents extended beyond the canvas as he painted vivid pictures of God’s hope and redemption through his inspiring Bible stories and sermons. His life and testimony were a guiding light for many, pointing them toward salvation in Jesus.
Beloved husband of Karen for 28 years. Loving father to Randy (Anita), Rob (Lynda), Michele, Michelle Daniels (Randall), and Ann Henderson (Eric). Dear brother of Lloyd, Dawna, and Jim. Cherished by 16 grandchildren,11 great grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
A Service to celebrate the life of Bob will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 374 Salem Road, Barrie on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will take place from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. with a reception to follow the Service in the Emmanuel Atrium.
Memorial Donations to Thessalon Bible Chapel or Galilean Bible Camp would be appreciated by the family.
