Passed away with loved ones by her side after a lengthy illness at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in her 71
st year. Much loved wife of Richard and super mom of Mark (Johanna). Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Scarfone. Cherished sister of Lucy (late Matt) and Joey (Debbie). Daughter-in-law of the late Stanley and Wanda Kniahnicki. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Mary (Stephen), Krista (John), Olivia, Carissa (Matt), Ryan (Ange), Jeff (Tammy) and Julie. Sister-in-law of Donald (Lillian), late Edward (Susan), late Tommy, late Henry and the late Bogdan. Niece and cousin to many in the Scarfone, Mantello and Kniahnicki families. Friends are invited to visit at St. Jerome’s Catholic Church on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 10 am until time of Mass at 11 am. Rev. Pat Woods officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to ARCH or SAH Renal Unit would be appreciated. Heartfelt thanks to the nurses of the SAH Renal Unit who were exceptional in their care of Jean for the past 20 months as well as all the doctors who were involved in her health care until her passing, Doctors Berry, Shafee, Stewart, Hill, Jarrett and Booth.
