Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 5, 2006 with family by her side at the F. J. Davey Home at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Bill. Loving mother of Doug (Colleen), Bob (Corina), Bill Jr. all of Sault Ste. Marie and Janice Medland (Tom) of Schoemberg. Betty will be sadly missed by all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Edwin and Mary Hicks. Dear sister of the late Ted Hicks (Ann), late Art Hicks (late Gwenn), Bob Hicks (Jeanine), Eva Bovingdon (Bill), Mary Lethbridge (Bill) and Evelyn Dunn (Charles). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel (27 Fourth Line East). Interment at New Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the F.J. Davey Home or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by family. The family wishes to extend it's sincere thanks and appreciation to the many dedicated health care workers who have provided their loving care to our mother over the years.
