KINACH, BOHDAN

Peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home, Bohdan Kinach ended a life well lived, in his 99th year, on March 20, 2013, with family present. Beloved husband of the late Anastasia (nee Kertyczak) (1989), and Anna (nee Bajor) (2005). He is survived by his sons Orest (Marianne), and Myron (Vera). Loving Dido to Stephan, Lesia, Andrew, Erika and Michael. Bohdan is also mourned by his step family, Morris (Gladys) Bajor, and Marie (Jim Garnier). Bohdan was born to the late Jacob and Magdelina Kinach, March 15, 1914, in Ternopil district of Ukraine. He was the oldest brother to the late Metodij (Maria) Kinach, and the late Nadia (Damian) Stelmach. Bohdan was a special uncle to Bohdanna and George Domino and family, Taras and Diana Kinach and family, and Jaroslaw Kinach and family. Bohdan was a dear friend to Mary and Walter Borowicz and family, and Larisa Pochmursky (late Jaroslaw), and Helen Haras (late Dmytro). He will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and cousins throughout the world, as well as his friends and the community of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Family and friends are invited to call at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 293 St. George’s Ave., Sunday March 24th, 2013 from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m.. Panachyda at 6:00p.m. Funeral Liturgy on Monday March 25, 2013, at 10:00a.m., with Father Jaroslaw Lazoryk officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
