(April 24, 1953-September 8, 2019 of heart failure) - Husband to Gayle (nee Clark). Father to Myles, wife Andrea (nee Dvorak), grand kids Nathan, Alena and Olivia. Son of the late Oliver "Chuck" & the late Marie (nee Barbett) Ketola. Son in law of the late Don & late Doreen (nee Francis) Clark. Brother in law to John "Jack" Clark, wife Patty, James "Jim" Clark, wife Katie, and late Jeffrey "Jeff" Clark.
Mike had many talents and interests from fixing boats & motors, cars, hunting, fisheries research, skiing, Labrador Retrievers, to playing the piano. He had been the owner/operator of a local bakery. He was a past business manager at Group Health Center and at Sault College Campus. He assisted in the operation of his parent’s local business, the Beaver Hotel. He had volunteered with Special Olympics; "AAA" Minor Hockey; the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and a reading/tutor companion at Sault College as well as an organ donor to the Trillium Foundation.
Mike was privileged to have had many wonderful family and friends in his life and was never at a loss of a good conversation and to that he was truly blessed.
A private family service will be held for Mike at a later date. Cremation entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James Street, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario P6A 1P7, 705-759-8456.
