Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, June 2, 2006 in her 85th year, on what would have been her 62nd wedding anniversary to her late husband Edwin. Loving mother of Judy Wilson (John). Respected and cherished grandmother of Michael (Jennifer) and Clinton (friend Kara). Dear sister of Aino Hautala (Armas) and Annie Nenonen (Lauri). Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Mauri Waino, Arvo Nirkkola (Barbara), Toivo (late Nora), Tauno (Nora) and Taito (late Eileen) and sister Ellie O’Kapiec (late Louis).
