KEMPNY, Gerhard Victor 'Gerry'

Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the age of 95.  

Gerry is reunited with his dear wife Gertrude "Trudi" Kempny and his son Peter Kempny.  Loving father of Karen (Don Story), Debbie (Dan Litalien) and Cindy (John Studens). Cherished grandfather of Brian Simbirski (Eva Teng), Eric Story (Mariah), Kala Studens (Peter MacDonald), Hali Studens and Jarret Litalien. Predeceased by his parents Oscar and Adele Kempny. Dear brother of Walter Kempny, Marie Cili and Alfred "Freddie" Kempny. Gerry will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522) on Saturday, October 30, 2021 between 11:00 am - 12:45 pm. Memorial service to take place at 1:00 pm in the chapel with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. (Covid-19 regulations are mandatory). Out of respect for the Kempny family, they would appreciate anyone visiting the funeral home to be double vaccinated.  If you are unable to attend the service please visit www.funeraweb.tv and select Gerhard's name.  The service can be viewed online starting at 1 pm on Saturday, October 30, 2021 and can be viewed anytime up to 90 days.
