KELL, Myrtle Victoria (formerly Masse, nee Stone)

Passed away quietly at
Extendicare Van Daele on Monday, November 3, 2008 in her 91st year. Life
partner of the late Delmar J. Cullen, wife of the late Hartley G. Kell and
Fernand A. Masse. Loving daughter of the late Joseph and Margery Stone of
England. Sister of the late Margery Hammill (late Richard) and Joseph Stone
(Pat). Survived by her sister Edna Tarr (late Trevor) & family of England;
cousin and best friend June Oliverio (Ernie) of Sault Ste. Marie and her
devoted friend, Lorna Ferguson. Myrtle was a strong believer in community
and family. She was a supporter of the arts and was an active member of the
Art Gallery of Algoma, SSM Museum, Geneological Society, Sault Naturalists,
Y Hikers and the Horticultural Society. Over the years Myrtle attended St.
Luke's and St. Matthews' Anglican Churches and St. Andrews United and Holy
Trinity Churches. Myrtle will be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces,
nephews, friends and association members, the many lives she touched during
her travels, and the caring staff and 3rd floor angels at Extendicare Van
Daele. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Northwood Funeral Home
(942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 2 p.m.
with Reverend Munroe Scott officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
A reception will follow in the lower lounge of the Northwood Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Algoma University, the Humane
Society, the church or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
