KEENAN, Tom

Passed away peacefully, after a short illness at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at the age of 74.  Beloved husband of Gayle.  Devoted father of Tommy (Susan), Eric (Lindy), Tracy Johnson (Mike) and Lori Walker (Brent).  Entertaining grampa to Jacob, Matthew, Nick, Travis, Shelbey, Mark and Brianna.  Son of the late Curly and Eleanor Keenan.  Brother of Jimmy and the late Sister Mary.  Brother-in-law of the late Ed Gowlett (Ruby), Earl Gowlett (Rose) and Carol MacFarlane (Jack).  Tom will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.  He will be forever remembered as a great character who never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
