Peacefully at the Ontario Finnish Resthome surrounded by family on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the age of 91. Special friend of Edith Dixon. Dear father of June Kavanagh, Thomas (Stephanie), Richard, Diane Dietz and Peggy McDougall. Grandfather of Julie, Dee, Elissa, Shilo, Michael, Heather, Althea, Rachel, Joey . Great grandfather of three. He will be remembered by the Dixon family. Doc will be sadly missed by his good friend Kurt Butt and Fred Middleton. A private memorial visitation and service was held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Rev. Larry Burton officiated.
