At his home on Monday October 9, 2006. Yrjo Karvinen in this 82nd year. Beloved husband of Anni Karvinen and brother of Olavi Karvinen of Finland. Yrjo was predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters. God father to Juha Kastikinen and brother in law to Onni Tenhumaki (Aune) and Jenny Patrakka of Sault Ste Marie and Kaija Salminen and the late Tauno, Erkki and Esteri. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at O’Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home, Corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts Friday October 13 from 1pm until time of the funeral and committal service in the chapel at 2pm with Pastor Rudolph Hyvarinen officiating. Internment at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Finnish Pentecostal Church or the Renal Dialysis unit would be appreciated. The Karvinen family would like to express their gratitude to Karen of Com-Care and Dr. Maloney for the consideration and compassion shown to Yrjo during his illness.
