Passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2012. Jouko leaves behind his best friend and loving wife of 60 years, Mary Jane Kahtava. Son of the late Alec and Hanna Kahtava. Loving father of the late George (Fay), Grant (Maria) and Gregory. Caring grandfather of Allen Evans (Crystal and great grandson Logan) of London, Luke (Jessie and great grandsons Trysten, Zackary and Sylas), Mathew of North Bay, Peter of Sudbury, Thomas, Grace, Adam (Stephanie) of Calgary, Hanna Ivins (Adam) of The Pas, MB, Jesse, Aaron of Nelson, BC, Jacob, Jordan of Ottawa, Benjamin, Andrew, Kodi and Laila Doyon  of Ottawa. Brother of Jorma Kahtava (Joyce), late Terry Hurley (late Bob) of Unionville, Tev (Janet Lee) of Warren Robbins, Georgia, Alec (Sharon) of Raymore, MO and Barbara (Tony DeByl) of Markham. Brother-in-law of the late George Yule (late Janet), late Andrew (Agnes) of Vineland, ON, James (late Betty) and Doreen (Harry Walker) of Port Elgin. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 12 pm until time of the service in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
