(Born in Estonia, March 31, 1910) Passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2006 at Mauno Kaihla Koti, Finnish Rest Home. Herta had been a resident there since her husband’s death in 1995. Herta and Werner immigrated to Sault Ste. Marie after World War II. They had no children. Herta was a homemaker who took up painting when she was in her sixties.
