In loving memory of Wayne Jokinen, 57 years.Tuesday, April 19th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Most loving and kind husband of Maureen (nee Schuran). Devoted father of Jordan and Sabrina (Adam Kalviainen). Dear son of Urho and Aili (nee Rautio) Jokinen both predeceased. Dear brother of Nancy (Wayne Maher), Peter (Lise Paquette), Lynn (John Sabourin), Michael and Christine. Dear son in law of Roswitha Schuran, predeceased by his father in law Siegfried. Brother in law of Gary (Lauren) of Florida, Denis of Sudbury, Randy (Diana) of Sault Ste Marie, Gordy (Karen) of Florida. Special friend to Violette. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and family. Born in Sudbury, he retired from Vale in 2008 as a mechanic with 35 years service. Wayne held a special place in his heart for his cottage on Lake Penage where he enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets and trout fishing. He could never find a sauna hot enough. When not at the cottage, Wayne could be found in his garage restoring yet another car, from the frame up. The family wish to thank Drs. deBlacam, Knight and Lopez as well as the staff for their care and kindness.
