Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of the late Shirley. Loving father and friend of Laurie (Bob Dumanski). Adored Vaari of Elisa. Also survived by his brother Veikko of Sault Ste. Marie and sister Mirja Haapasalo of Finland. Predeceased by sisters Esteri and Sirkka and brother Jalmar all of Finland. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home on Saturday September 23, 2006 from 12 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Donations to Algoma Residential Community Hospice (A.R.C.H.) or the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association would be greatly appreciated.
