Peacefully at Algoma Residence Community Hospice with her family by her side on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of 45 years to William "Bill" Johnston. Loving mother of late Carol Enem, Vivian Gasteldo (Deni), Gloria Vidal and Andrew Vidal, late Carol Johnston, Janet Becker (Rudy), Bob Johnston (Mary Sue), David Johnston (Karen), predeceased by daughter Nancy Jean Johnston.
Gabrielle will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Lisa, Jason, Joel, Michael, Joshua, Timmy, Jamie, Vanessa, Adam and Amy, Tara, Stephanie, Ken, Shawn, Mathew, Megan, David and late Craig; Great-Grandchildren Zachary, Jadyn, Xavier, Caitlin, Lukas, Oscar and Elodie, Adam and Tristan.
Dear sister of late Anne Vidal (late Lawrence), and late Andrew Saumur; sister-in-law of late Ian (Dorothy), Janice Dool (Bob) and the late Ron. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Gabrielle and William's Life will be held in the summer of 2022, when all the family can reunite. Interment Greenwood Cemetery at that time.
