JOHNS, Glen Warren

In loving memory of Glen Warren Johns, who died June 1st 2004 at Sudbury Regional Hospital Laurentian Site, after a bravely fought fight with brain-cancer. Glen was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. As a young man to further his geological knowledge and satisfy his curiosity he traveled to, and worked in, Guatemala and Iran. Employed by the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines for the past 24 years, he was a diligent field-geologist, and more recently a devoted father. He will be remembered for a dry, wry sense of humor, dedication to his work and to his family. Loving father of Warren, husband of Caroline (Hawson). Beloved son of Bert and Gertie Johns, brother of Wayne (Mary), uncle to Michael and Amy. Memorial service at St. Andrew’s United Church (Larch St), Sudbury, 7:00 p.m. June 9th.
