It is with great sadness that the family of George “Bert” Jeffrey announces his passing on February 29, 2024, at home with his wife, Marie and daughter Pamela (and family) by his side.
George is survived by his wife, Marie of 68 years. His dear children, the late Patricia, Pam and Terry (Robyn) of Calgary, Alberta. Adored grandfather of 3, great-grandfather of 4 and special great-great-grandfather of 2, all of Calgary, Alberta. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Bert is predeceased by his parents Peter Jeffrey and Alex Menard as well as his siblings: Len (Catherine), Kay Rooney (late Albert), Tom (late Yvonne, Pat), late Jim (Jackie), Carol Jeffrey of Valcaron, Ontario and Gary Jeffrey (Carolyn) of Walford, Ontario.
Son-in-law of the late Irene and George Mcleod. Brother-in-law of the late Peg Cadham (late Carl), late George (late Ethel), late Ken (late Kathleen), late Edwin and Bill Mcleod (late Donna, Carol).
The family would like to thank Bert’s homecare nurses from Bayshore, especially Lisa for making it possible for him to remain in the care of his family at home.
As per Bert’s request, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held. Memorial donation made to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
