We regretfully announce the sudden passing of Jim Jarvis on November 8, 2008 at the age of 76. He was the best friend and beloved husband of Pauline, devoted father of Jim (Gail), Ann Campana (Bob), Mike (Nancy) and Dave. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Nicholas and Noah Covington-Jarvis, Christine, Tom, Sam and Alex Campana and Bobby Jarvis. Jim was the son of the late Dawson and Gladys Jarvis and the brother of the late Nicky Davies (John). He was the son-in-law of the late Joe and Annie Bernard, brother-in-law of the late Lloyd (Bette), Eddie (Joanne), late Bill, Reg and Stan (Cindy) and had many nieces and nephews. Jim’s cheerful and positive attitude was an inspiration to all who knew him. As per Jim’s wishes a private visitation was held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. The family would like to thank Doctor Lenka Snajdrova at the Matthew’s Memorial Hospital, Doctor Skinner and staff at Sault Area Hospitals and Doctors Bittira and MacDonald at Sudbury General Hospital Memorial Site for their tireless efforts. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Joseph’s Island Food Bank, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
