Suddenly and peacefully surrounded by his family at the Sault Area Hospital, General Site on Friday, September 28, 2007 in his 80th year. Loving husband and best friend of Olive for 56 years. Devoted caring father of Robert (Carole), Marilyn Irwin-McLean, Brian (Carole), David (Linda) and predeceased by his son Thomas John (late Joanne) and his grandson, Derek. Very special, plain “ole” grandpa of Josiah (Bobbi-Jo), Eric, Elizabeth, Evan, Brianna, Rylee, Andre, Brent, Holly, Tommy, Jeff (Amy) and Tyler. Brother of the late Roy (late Ruth) and the late Harvey. Brother-in-law of Pat Nelson (Frank), Joan Nelson (Redverse), John Wilson (late Mary), Roy Wilson (late Anne) and Richard Wilson. Sadly missed by Sherry Wilson and Bill McLean. Special uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 from 11 AM until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1 PM. Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating.
