After a brief illness, Elsie passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on December 14, 2021, at the age of 68.
Predeceased by her husband Rheal Philion and her infant daughter Jennie-Lynne.
Elsie is survived by countless friends whom she loved and cared for, as well as her sister Phyllis Jean Irwin and her brother Philip Edward Irwin.
Elsie sought to make the world a better place for all those she cared for.
She had a heart for the downtrodden and went out of her way to help anyone in need.
