It is with deepest sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Linda on October 2, 2023, surrounded by family until her very last breath. A loving wife of 52 years, most adored mother and the greatest grandmother.
Left to mourn, is her doting husband, Larry, her loving boys; Hugh (Gerri), Steven (Taben), Jon (Heather) and the apples of her eyes, her grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah, Madeleine and Haley.
Daughter of the late Les and Jeannette Folz. Sister of Edith Frechette, Lorie VanScoy (Luke) and the late Les Jr. Daughter-in-law of Ilene and the late Hugh Irwin. Sister-in-law of Nancy Viita (late Wayne), Sharon Watt, Roy (Sandra) and Cathy Madill. Sweet Aunt to many nieces, nephews and countless friends. She will be missed so much by her fur grand-dog Bess.
Mom was a pillar of strength, the rock of our family and the glue that kept us together. There was not a single fight that she would back down from. After beating cancer twice, she refused to let it define her. A warrior until the very end, the toughest woman we ever met. The most amazing wife, mother, grandma, we love you, we miss you already and you will be in our hearts forever.
We would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses in the Sault, Sudbury and Ottawa who took care of her.
As per Linda’s wishes, there will be no services and cremation will take place.
