Passed away peacefully at the FJ Davey Home, surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren while listening to old time country music, on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Peter. Loved mother of Lynne Morley (Don) and Lorrie Morley (Terry). Proud Grandma of Jake Morley, Megan Morley, Kaley Chibnall (Dan), Peter Morley (April), Taryn Morley (Jesse) and GG of Shelby Lynne Chibnall. Daughter of the late Bill and late Georgina “Ena” Maki. Dear sister of Jim Maki (Jeanette). Sister-in-law of Jean Mattila (late Jim), Chick Goertzen (late Ilene) and predeceased by Margaret Cornacchio (Alfred), Bea Ironside and John Ironside. Daughter-in-law of the late Alec and Mary Ironside. Special aunt of Anne Marshall (Kim) and Jennifer Scornaienchi (Mark) and many nieces and nephews. Special friend of many. Louise loved spending time with her grandchildren and grand pets every chance she could. She was very active in the community in many different social groups. Some of her hobbies included quilting and in her younger days curling. Although she wasn’t able to curl anymore, Louise always enjoyed watching her brother and nephews play and following along on T.V. She loved Halloween and dressing up in costume and never passed up a good party. Louise was known for her passion of music and was always the first one up to dance. She was a special woman who will be missed by many. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Mary Alice Policicchio officiating. Interment at West Korah Cemetery. Memorial donations to the FJ Davey Home Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Special thank you to the Angels on Birch Lane 3 at the FJ Davey Home and the staff at Pathways for their care and compassion over the years. www.northwoodfuneral.com
