Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, December 11, 2007; Lina Ianni at the age of 75 years. Devoted wife and best friend of Michele Ianni. Sadly missed by her children Frank 'Chico' Ianni (Sandra) and Lisa Ficociello (Carmine). Cherished nanna of Michael, Jeffrey and Jordan Ianni and Tino and Ann Ficociello. Pre-deceased by her parents Giovanna and Raffaele Plastino. Daughter-in-law of the late Francesco Ianni (late Lisa, late Finita). Sister of the late Gilda Santoro (Michele). Sister-in-law of Erminia Maida (Michele) and Giuseppe Ianni (Fiorella). Lina will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Rose Giovagnoli (George), Franca Guzzo (Michele), Ann Marie Santoro, Franca DiLollo (late Rocco), Umberto Maida, Gina Cicchelli (Nat), Alba Parmentola (Massimo), Maria DeFillipis (Enzo) and Michele Ianni (Christina). Lina will also be greatly missed by her many friends and neighbours. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at St. Gregory's Church at 1:00 p.m. wtih Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. S. Spadafora, Dr. F. Ianni, Dr. Lindsay and all of the nurses on the 4th floor Palliative Care who took great care of Lina.
