Of Port Colborne passed away at the Port Colborne General Hospital on Friday May 12, 2006 at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of 60 years of Margaret (Elek), loving father of Frank (Rachel) Hruska of Ancaster, Mary Ann Cassan (Gary Elliott) of St. Catharines, Ken (Julie) Hruska of Sault Ste. Marie and Linda Nash (Marty Lozon) of London, dear grandfather of Matthew (Amanda) Cassan, Jim (Laura) Cassan, Cherie and Krista Hruska, Linden and Jeremy Nash, Alex and Kristen Lozon, great grandfather to a special great grandson Jacob Cassan, brother of Helen Miko of Toronto. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.Ê Mr. Hruska was predeceased by his parents Paul and Anna Hruska and his brother Paul Hruska.Ê Henry was a veteran of World War II and his name is proudly displayed on the Juno Beach Memorial Wall. ÊHe worked for Algoma Steel in Sault Ste. Marie from 1977 until he retired in 1983.Ê Mr. Hruska was a member of the Canadian Corps, the Hungarian Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Port Colborne Lions Club and the Sault Ste. Marie Lions Club.Ê Cremation has taken place.Ê The Hruska family will receive visitors at the Port Colborne Chapel of Davidson Funeral Homes 135 Clarence St. on Monday 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.Ê Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday May 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Maria Lallouet officiating.Ê If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Hungarian Presbyterian Church.
