It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Bill in his 96th year at the F.J. Davey Home.
Son of the late Alvin and Jesse Howson. Beloved husband of Hilda for 69 years. Proud father of Tim (Heather), Ken (Jackie) and Jerry (Katie). Caring grandpa to Ashley, Andrea (Tom) and Dan (Karlie). Step-grandfather to Shannon (Chris), Jeff (Brianna) , Aimee (Chris) and Thomas (Claudia). Great grandpa to many.
Bill started his life as a carpenter and then worked for the City of Sault Ste. Marie until he retired as the superintendent. Bill will be remembered as someone who enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time at Trout Lake with family and friends.

As per Bill's request a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer's Adult Day Program or V.O.N.
