Passed from this life at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice late in the evening of Thursday, March 1, 2012. Dearest husband of Maxine for 42 years. Proud father to his treasured daughters, Allison and Meghan. Big brother to sisters Elizabeth (Ron) Ceci, Catherine (Alan) Rowlinson and Laurie (Albert) Hubley. Uncle Bert to his nieces, Michelle (Brent) Atkins, Gianna and Daniella Ceci, Karen Hubley and nephew Ian Rowlinson. Born to Albert and Eileen Houghton (Haswell) in Liverpool, England in November, 1942. Stepson to the late Anne Houghton. Son-in-law to the late Russell and Eileen Nass. “Charlie” will be missed by family members in England. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 1 – 3 pm. In keeping with Al’s wishes no funeral service will take place.
