Peacefully at home on Sunday, May 24, 2020 after a long battle with breast cancer. Loving daughter of the late Ken Hopper and the late Cherrill Hopper (nee Van Loon). Cherished mother of Joshua Deluney (Cherie Behrens) and Kendra Deluney (George Simpson). Partner and best friend of Bob Pavlik. Devoted Nana of Hayden, Hunter and Harmony. Beloved sister of Valerie Hopper (Robert Naud) and Donna Hopper (Robert Slack). Beloved niece of Donna Nathanson (late David). Niece of Peter Van Loon. Fun-loving aunt of Camille Hopper-Naud, Danika Hopper-Naud, Stefan Hopper-Naud, Lucas Hopper-Naud, Jordan Hopper, Michael Collins and Marissa Collins. Doting mother of her fur babies Harley, Piper and Paisley. Special thank you to the Deluney family, especially Suzanne for her support over the years. Kellie will also be missed by her many friends especially Monica Bellerose, and her coworkers at the Sault Area Hospital.
Kellie was a very nurturing person who loved spending time with family and friends, and always put others before herself. She loved to travel especially to Inverhuron Beach where some of her ashes will be laid to rest. Kellie maintained her sense of humour to the very end.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Kellie's life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions (payable by cheque or online) to Tracy's Dream or the Sault Ste.
