HOLLEY, Robert Delwood - Robbie took his final cast on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the age of 67, before heading out to the big open water. Rob was surrounded by family at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice.
Beloved son, best friend and fishing partner of Buzz and his mother Joan (nee Oliver) Holley. Cherished brother of Randy (Peggy), Karen (Dave), late Terry, and late Sheri-Lynn. Uncle Rob of Carissa (Jon), and Allison (Adriano). Great-uncle to Alivia, and Michela. Robbie will be greatly remembered by many relatives and lifelong friends.
Robbie will also be remembered by his work families, while spending his career at Currie Brothers and Construction Equipment, along with countless customers and acquaintances. Robbie's passions in life were family, work, fishing and watching the Goulais River go by from his front porch.
Thank you to the community of Goulais River, his neighbours and friends, for all of their support, especially over the last few years. A special thank you to Jim, Kelly, JR, Nadia, Lem, and Kenny for your companionship and assistance.
The family would like to also thank doctors Apostle, DiFabio and George, along with nurse Tracy from the Sault Area Hospital, Nancy from Community Health, Kelly and Katrina from ARCH for making Robbie's final moments peaceful. Jon and Carissa thank you for guiding us.
At Robbie's request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to the S.A.H Foundation or A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family.
