HILL, Larry W.

Posted

June 21, 1955 - July 22, 2006. We are grateful as well as grief stricken; Larry left us living life as he wished; being free, riding his motorcycle and living in the present. Throughout his varied travels and experiences, Larry has touched many lives, whether it was visiting a foreign destination and mingling with the locals, recounting stories on road trips with his friends, or sharing knowledge while working hard at his trade. Despite the many obstacles that he and his beloved wife, Maureen (deceased May 23, 2006), faced, they were continually loving, guiding, and supportive of their family; he is forever proud of their two children, Rebecca and Gregory. After being blessed as soulmates for thirty years on earth, Larry and Maureen will continue celebrating their journey of love together, back in each others' arms. And while Larry is now in his deserved place beside his wife, he will be deeply missed by everyone he touched. Son of Wilbert (Adele) Hill and Margaret Hill; brother to Clifford (Jane) Hill, James (Susan) Hill, Carol (Reg) Devost and Derek Hill; son-in-law of Maurice and Audrey Burch; brother-in-law of Larry (Anne) Burch, Pat (Ruth) Burch and Steven (Wendy) Burch (deceased 1990). We will be celebrating Larry's love of life and grieving the loss at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) (wheelchair accessible) on Wednesday, July 26th, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Phil Miller officiating. Fellowship and life memories will follow this celebration of life. Memorial donations made to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (A.R.C.H.) would be appreciated by the family.
