Sidney John Hilderley passed away peacefully at the Great Northern Retirement Home on Monday, April 7, 2003 at the age of 90. Loving husband of Iva Ilene (Smith). Cherished father of Claranne DiPietro (Tony) of British Columbia, Esther Wilcox (Howe) of Sault Ste. Marie, Judith Lott (late Jack) of British Columbia, Sidney L. (Diane) of Sault Ste. Marie and Richard of British Columbia. Beloved grandfather of 16 and great grandfather of 9. Brother of Ada Holmes and predeceased by Annie, Cora, Olive, Madge, Dave and Bill. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, April 10 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral service will be in the chapel on Friday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m. with Mrs. Janet Norman officiating. Interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Oddfellows or to a charity of you choice would be appreciated by the family. Members of the Masonic Lodge are requested to assemble at the Arthur Funeral Home at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday for a memorial service for the late Sidney Hilderley.
