After a courageous battle Oscar passed away with his family by his side on Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Sault Area Hospital Plummer Site. Beloved husband of Lily (DiAngelo) for 61 years. Loving father of Kathy, late Jim (Louise) and the late Cindy. Grandfather of Cindy Findlay (Ashburn) and Jamie Hertzog (Kerry). Great grandfather of Adam, Daniel and Matthew Findlay and Ava Hertzog. Son of Ferdinand and Hulda Herzog. Brother of Doreen Wiebe (late John) and predeceased by 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Brother-in-law of Erma DiAngelo (late Nick) and predeceased by sister and brother-in-laws. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dedicated employee at the Windsor Park Hotel for 38 years. Kind and caring friend of Terry Chapman, and remembered by Marianne Disano who never stopped trying to bring a sense of calmness to his life and Lynn Tomie who has given her kind words and support through the years. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 12 noon until time of service in the chapel at 2 pm. Monsignor Victor Amadio officiating.
