Passed away peacefully on Monday June 19th, 2023 at the Norfolk General Hospital. Mr. Jim Henderson of Port Dover in his 91st year.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth for 67 years. Loving father and special uncle of Kim Weerdenburg (Peter) and Nancy Verteramo (Frank). Cherished Gramps to Jake (Celine), Candace (Mike) and their children Massimo and Gemma, and Natasha (Paul). Dear brother of Gerald (late Justine), Norma (Graham) and Sandra (Ron).Jim will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jim was retired from Algoma Steel. Jim had a deep love for his family, that was the most important thing to him.
At Jim’s request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hwy #3 West, Simcoe and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk St. S., Simcoe (519-426-1314).
