HEISLER, Bernard J. "PAT"

— of Fingal, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, in his 88th year. Husband of Mildred (nee Cooke) Heisler. Father of Byron Heisler of London, and Myrna Rose (Ron Tuba) of Texas Island, BC. Grandfather of Jessica Heisler (Brad), Lindsey Heisler (Scott), and Curtis Heisler (Talon). Great Grandfather of Scarlet and Ava. Brother of Joyce Collins (Chuck) of Goulais River, Val Heisler (late Susan), and Victor Heisler (Doris) all of Alymer, Grant Heisler of Merritt, BC., and the late Bert Heisler (Shirley of Morrisburg). Dear friend of Josie and Bill Ripley, and Sue and Leighton Ellis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and special Uncle of Christopher and Sean Collins. Born in Hanna AB, March 17, 1930, he was the son of the late Adam and C.A. "Toots" (neePfefferle) Heisler. Pat was a retired self employed construction worker. He was a former member of the Optimist Club of Fingal. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
