(September 12, 1935 - August 2, 2022) - Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital in his 87th year.
Beloved father of Kelly Lightfoot (Paul), Kim Gioia (Frank), and Derek Heintzman (Brenda). Grandfather of Hannah and Zachary Lightfoot, Julian and Ally Gioia, and Nicole and Mackenzie Heintzman. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Della Heintzman. Brother of Bernard Heintzman (Eleanor) and predeceased by Fred Heintzman (Barbara), David Heintzman (Sonja), Margaret Niemi (Paul), and Darlene Heintzman. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his daughter-in-law Christine Heintzman. Cherished friend of Cindy Armstrong. Linc lived large and loved life! Camp, sunsets, all things Elvis and Marilyn Monroe; Detroit Tiger ball games were among his favorite things. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the March of Dimes for their care and compassion.
At Lincoln's request cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions to the March of Dimes would be greatly appreciated.
