Haynes-Lasook, Doreen

October 16, 2010. Born in Croyden, England in 1923, only child of Lucy and Robert Carey. Dearest wife of Frank Lasook. Loving and cherished mum to Michael Lasook (Judy), Dorine Elliott (Norman) and the late Richard Lasook. Dear Nana to Jamie Elliott (Carol), Kerrie Cond (Larry), Tracy Lasook (Rob), Darcy Lasook (Katarina), and Robbie Lasook. Sweet Great Gram to Michael McLean (Lynaya), Amanda McLean, Kaitlin and Courtney Elliott, and Lauryn Lasook. Great Great Gram to Marc and Macy McLean. Doreen and two of her children, Michael and Dorine, came to Canada arriving in Halifax, N.S. on April 18, 1945 on ship #53. She lived in Goulais River until the death of her husband Frank in 1986. Doreen moved to B.C. and was happy with her husband Douglas until her death. Another Angel is Gods Garden, she always called Goulais River Home.
