Passed away peacefully and with dignity at the General Hospital with family by his side on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Thelma Haxton and the late Mary Haxton. Dearly loved father of Donna (Stan) and stepfather of Ronald Oliver (Barb), Lynn Oliver (Bonnie) and Barbara Oliver. Grandpa of 5 and Step-Grandpa of 13. Brother of the late Bill Haxton. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday January 30, 2006 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at 1 pm. Major Paul Wood officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Salvation Army or the Gideon’s would be appreciated by the family.
