HAWDON, Hugh Reginald (Hughie) – Following a tragic accident, it is with great sadness that the family of Hugh Hawdon would like to announce his sudden and unexpected death on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at Sudbury Regional Hospital at the age of 50. Hugh is survived by his best friend and loving wife Shirley and is the cherished father of Terri-Lynn and Joe. Son of the late Reg and Bessie Hawdon and son-in-law of Gerry Campbell (late Doug). Hughie will be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters: John (Eunice), James (Edith), Janine Nadjiwon (Bernie), Lynette Down (Paul) and twin brother Harold (Linda). Dear brother-in-law of Robert Campbell (Dona), Emily Rains (Wayne) and the late James Campbell. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews, and always remembered by his many aunts and uncles. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, February 16, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm and then to the Free Methodist Church, St. Joseph Island, on Saturday, February 17, 2007 from 10 am until time of funeral service at 11 am. Rev. Tom Gurnick officiating. Interment in the spring. In honour of Hughie, memorial contributions to Central Algoma Secondary School (CASS) Scholarship Fund would be appreciated by the family.
