It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Dale at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Dale for 43 years. Loving father of Robert (Jennifer) and Jayne (Mike). Special grandpa and papa of Owen Pilon, Luc Pilon and Eleanor Harten. Dear son of Helen and the late Charles Harten. Brother of Bruce (Barb). Brother-in-law of Harry Evans (Penny), Jane Sharpe (George), late Steve Evans and the late Angela Harten. Uncle of Braidy, Brooke, Holly, Rhys, Leryn, Chris, Allison and Jennifer. A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at the James Harten Legion, Richards Landing, on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 11 am until the time of Legion tribute at 2 pm. Spring interment Port Findlay Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made at the Arthur Funeral Home to the Matthew’s Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Sault Ste.
