After a courageous battle with cancer, Rodney ended his journey on August 31, 2007, at the age of 49. Beloved companion and best friend of Patti MacLeod (“Little Sweetie”). Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roland Harrison. Chosen son of Mr. and Mrs. Stan Gilliam. Dear brother of Susan Pennell (Bill). Much-loved uncle of William and Jordan. Brother-in-law of Rod, Robert, Jonathan, Jim and MaryLou MacLeod. Special brother of Tina (Tex), Ina (Mike), Anne (Ron), and the late Russel (Phyllis). Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Many thanks to Drs. Walde and Buehner, nurse Brenda Fera, and the wonderful nurses at Comcare. The Celebration of Rodney’s life will take place on Wednesday, September 12, 2007, in the J.C. Pinch auditorium at St. Andrew’s United Church. Family and friends are invited to attend from 7pm until 9pm. At 7:30 a short tribute to Rodney will be held by Rev. Phil Miller and neighour Robert Rutherdale. Refreshments will be available following the tribute. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
