On Wednesday, March 29, 2006, Paul passed away at the Sault Area Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He left surrounded by his family. Paul leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years; Mary Lou, his three children; Tom (Joey), Paul (Kerry) and Peg Morgan (Guy) and his two energetic grandsons Mitchell and Ross Harris. Paul was born November 7, 1940 in Kirkland Lake to the late Ross and Jewel Harris. Brother of Michael (Phyllis), Terry (Liz) and Richard (Judy). Son in law of the late Tom and June Danz. Special brother in law of Jody Danz, Nancy and Art Tadashore, Barb and Bill Officer, Tom and Gwen Danz and Laurie Errington. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Godfather to Laurie Ann Officer, Katy Harris and Ryan McNeil. Special nephew to Auntie Vi. Special thanks to Dr. Walde and his ‘angels of mercy’, to the staff of the Medical Center Pharmacy (Janice, Jamie and Dean), Father Norman Fortier, the nurses of the 4th floor and our friend Ann Michaud who cared for Paul in his final days. Love to our family who supported us from the first diagnosis. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, March 31, 2006 from 6-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Jerome’s Church on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 10 am. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating.
