On Saturday, April 11, 2020, we raised our glasses of rye and water and bid cheers for one last time to a kind, gentle, giving, loving, humble man. Stu passed away peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home at the age of 96. 

Stu was the beloved husband of 31 years to the late Kaye and of 36 years to Angela.
He was the loving father of Nancy Kinney (Douglas), Laurel Harris, Scott Harris (Nitya), Timothy Harris (Sheila) and Catherine Harris. Loving step-father of Micheline Naccarato (Joanne), Ritchard Naccarato, Mary-Ann Suraci (Michael), Lydia Foster (Ron) and Palma Gervasi (Bruno).  Proud grandfather of Ryan Kinney, Kathleen Kinney (Jay), Lauren Kinney (John), Adam Kinney (Chandra), Zane Harris (Erin) and Zach Harris (Hailey).  Loving Papa of Joal Suraci (Amy), Jessica Hawes (Ryan), Aimee West (Greg), Nicole Vance (Greg), Angela Boudreau (Ben), Victoria Gervasi (Jake), Ricky Naccarato and Erica Naccarato.  Great grandfather of 12.  Son of the late Harry and Maise Harris.  Dear brother of Phyllis Cherry (late Ernie), late Eileen McGillvary (late Ernie), late Barbara Greenwood (late Gordon) and late Donald Harris (late Renie).  Brother-in-law of the late Mary Vendor (late Lou), late Theresa Bordin (late Guido), late Rose Miceli (late Angelo), late Gena Bouchard (late Joe McAlpine), Frank Maccarone (late Jeanette and John Maccarone.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.  

Stu was proud to have served our country  in the Air Force during World War II.  He was the rear gunner in the Lancaster Bomber and shared many stories of his time served with family and friends. Stu, we thank you for your service and salute you with the highest regard. Stu  worked at the Post Office for many years and later retired from the Sault Star where  he worked as Advertising Manager. Stu  was a founding member of the Soo Pee Wee Hockey organization in 1964 and served there until 2008. He was also in charge of registration for minor hockey for many years. Stu, you touched the lives of many people during your lifetime and were highly respected by all.  A private family funeral service will be held.  Memorial donations made to the FJ Davey Home Cedar Grove Second Floor would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington Street East 705-759-2522).
