HARPER, Alice (Cress)

Passed away in her 98th year on October 15, 2008. Wife of
the late Melville Harper. Loving mother of Marlene Pidgen (late JD). Precious Nan of
6 grandchildren: Sharon Sicoli (Dirar) Strathroy, Marilyn Hore (Michael)
Mississippi, Jim Pidgen Sault Ste. Marie, Donna Berry (Bob) London, Linda Trozzo
(Dan) Sault Ste. Marie and Kelly Vautour (Garth) Burlington. Also fondly remembered
by Jim-Jon Sicoli and Pam Pidgen. Great grandmother of 16. Great-great grandmother
of 6. Sister of the late Clarence (Martha), late Clayton (Olive), late Albert (Ida),
late Cecil (Marguerite). Special Aunt Alice to many nieces and nephews. Friends may
call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, October 24, 2008 from
6-9 pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 10 am.
Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Red Cross,
SAH Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Special thanks to the
kind compassionate care given by her wonderful PSW Cathy, and to the nurses of 200Y
at the General Hospital and all the health care professionals who took the time to
do home visits to our "family treasure". You will be greatly missed Nanie.
