HANUSCHAK, Richard

(May 1, 1960 – December 6, 2016) – After a long courageous battle with cancer Rick lost his battle at the age of 56.  His strength and fight will be remembered by everyone who knew him.  He will be truly missed by his caring and loving wife Joanne of 22 years.  Cherished and loving father of Allen (Lorrane), Brian, Jennifer (Doug) and Shawna (Jason).  Grandfather of 5.  Son of the late Gordie (Mary) and siblings Elizabeth (Ted), James, Randy (Brenda), Darlene (Steve), Wendy (Bob), Lucian, Randy, Karen (Bill), Bill, Tim, Robin, Michael (Lisa) and Shelley (Frank).  Son-in-law of the late Jack (Rolande).  Brother –in-law of Calvin (Kathy) and the late Allen, Janet Lynn and Nancy Lynn.  His stubborn ways and sense of humour will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. At Rick’s request there will be a Come & Go Celebration of his life at our home on Saturday, December 10, 2016 from 2 pm until 6 pm.   Memorial contributions made to ARCH or Tracy’s Dream would be appreciated by the family.  We would like to thank the team at ARCH for their compassionate care throughout this journey.  Special thanks to Dr. Booth and Dr. Hill.
