Member of the Order of the British Empire, born May 31, 1921, passed away May 9, 2011 in Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by his wife, Donna. Loving father to Peter (Lisa) and Penny and grandfather to Sarah, Kimberley, James, Trevor and Kelly, and dear friend to Florence. George’s love of golf and sense of adventure was an inspiration to us all. His charisma and bright intelligence touched all who met him. A private family gathering was held Wednesday May 11. In lieu of flowers please plant a tree in George’s memory, or make a donation to the charity of your choice.
