HANNA, Jordan Wesley

Posted

Hanna

Passed away unexpectedly on August 4th, 2022, at the age of 38.  Survived by the two loves of his life, Eileen and Fitzy. Beloved son of Michael Hanna and the late Suzanne Hanna. Grandson of the late Verlyn “Vicky” LaPensee. Dear brother of Natalie (Bill) Mantha and Ashleigh Hanna (Jacob). Cherished uncle to Emily & Kaitlyn Mantha. He will be missed dearly by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jordan graduated from Algoma University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English and from Lakehead University with an Honours Bachelor of Social Work. Jordan had a gentle soul and sought to help others as a social worker in the Thunder Bay & Algoma communities. He will be remembered as an avid Blue Jays and Raptors fan with a love of reading, music and film. We will miss his smile and the way he always made us laugh.

As per Jordan's wishes, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. If you would like to express your sympathy; we know Jordan would have wanted to help others. We encourage donations to be given to the SSM Humane Society, Cystic Fibrosis Canada, the Heart & Stroke Foundation, and the Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention in Jordan’s honour (all payable online or by cheque).
