Peacefully at the Thessalon Hospital on Thursday January 6, 2011. Klaus Hanel of Bruce Mines in his 87th year, beloved husband of Julia Hanel for 43 years. Loving father of Claudia Hanel of Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, Roland Hanel of Ottawa and Rudiger Hanel of Grimsby. Predeceased by one brother. Dear brother-in-law of Gustav Westermann of Germany. Also survived by numerous nieces , nephews and cousins. Resting at the Beggs Funeral Home, Thessalon where friends may call on Tuesday January 11, 2011 from 1pm until time of service at 3 o’clock.
